After that quote he states that's what coach said, and to talk to him about it. He also stated that the rumours of him not having his bad plays shown in meetings was completely false, and thusly is why he didn't respond to the accusation in the week.

 

Are you guys are seriously falling for the same bullshit media narrative that Cam had to endure? After watching NFLN and ESPN a bit this week you can see how harshly they've turned on him. They're taking clips from his last post-game interview, which in my opinion was very honest, and making it out like the guy has maturity issues and is largely at fault as to why the team isn't succeeding this year.

 

It's complete horeshit. They're just using you for ad revenue.

at the end of the patriots game on MNF i stopped having celebration aneurysms long enough to observe Cam's reactions and it was almost this palpable moment of reaping the fruits of two full years of bullshit. the stoney confidence, the set jaw, the even keel, the gleam of iron-clad confidence as he strode onto the field in celebration of a victory.

 

it reminded me of the scene in 300 where the aegean is dashing persian ships to bits in the midst of a storm and everyone's jumping around in grecian skirts and CG abs celebrating, but leonidas: only only one keeps his spartan reserve, only he: our king.

 

that's when it was clear to me that all the years of being forged through the fires of adversity had produced sir cameron fucking newton, leader of men, lover of puppies, esquire. that's when cameron god damn bomb-ass newton had arrived.

I dont care how hurt you are as a football player. When your the qb of a team and the self appointed "leader" you better now have your dad in a the locker room after the game. Especially if you got through the entire game still walking.

You know, the telling thing to me is that Cam's problem was that he obsessed over his mistakes, demanding self-perfection. RG3 seems to not want to acknowledge when he makes mistakes. That's a huge difference.
