Invoice for playoff tickets

By "stuck" I meant you would have to sell them or eat the cost. It's the hassle of the whole thing. I never pay more than face. It takes time to find them but I always do. For what its worth WC row is the best seat in the house and I've sat everywhere.

You won't pay near face for a playoff ticket.

I hope you have to pay 3X face to sit in the stadium that we paid for.

You have to purchase them as a PSL owner, otherwise you may forfeit your right to your PSLs. Right before the holidays, timing is always great thanks to the NFL.

And should the Panthers not make the playoffs you do not get a refund. Rather, the team credits this toward next year's tickets... lol... So they are basically taking the PSL owners' money and collecting the interest off it for at least 7 months before next year's invoice comes due.

I'd be willing to bet the NFL does not report this as part of their revenue stream.

Not true. You can either get a refund or have the credit hold over until next year's season tickets are due.

We support the team win or lose. partially because we have to - but in reality, when we got PSLs. we knew that a big chunk of our time and money would be involved in watching pro football. This is why game day is a giant deal that is planned out in advance. It's why my tailgate hires bands for big games. It's why I spend Saturday night cooking and prepping.

The people that own the PSLs around me sell them for the most part, and basically come out even win or lose, since they are way lower level, and opposing team fans tend to scoop them up. In bad seasons, they actually get great money for them because what opposing team fan wouldn't want a close up seat to see their team whoop up on us?

I hate them with a passion. But this season watching their disappointed faces has been fun.

Unless they recently changed it, I was never given a refund for the 17 seasons I had PSLs and was billed for playoff tickets.

I swear they gave that option...but I might be wrong. Happens at least 50% of the time.

I did find the pay as you play option. Pay $2 now and don't pay for the tix until the games are decided....definitely the way to go.

Yeah, I think around 2008-2009 when the economy began taking its toll on PSL owners and a huge number of them went on sale in both the private market as well as those simply sold back to the team, they came up with a lot of different payment options, which may have included the playoff tickets. But the last time I was invoiced for them was 2008 and that was over $800 for my 2 lower levels without a refund option...

... summarily crushed by the Arizona Cardinals in one fell swoop...
