Blackburn, Hartsock back at practice. Johnson & Scott are not.

That fact that we don't have a indoor practice facility is pretty pathetic. They are practicing in a convention center.

word on the street was that Fox was really, really pushing for one of these during his time here. He hated the outdoors facility and made it very clear he wasn't pleased with the fact they had "open" practices.

poo like this cost money (a lot of it) and usually tax payer money. we saw the BS that just happened when the Panthers tried to shake down the city for escalators.

Sprains are tricky, and it's very easy to re-inflame them if you come back too early.  I wouldn't be surprised if he rested the rest of the week, possibly coming back Friday. Coming from someone who's had knee sprains in the past, he could probably come back now, but he will be dealing with the sprain the rest of the season.  Better to recover to 100% then come back.

Good news on Hartsock, and Blackburn.

We can make it without CJ this week if necessary. Are Tolbert, and Deangelo just getting the day off?

Tolbert hurt his leg trying to get into the endzone, and Stewart did take more snaps than usual so Deangelo maybe hurt too.

    • Canales was brought in to fix Bryce. That was how he sold himself. He failed.  the panthers need a new qb, someone to coach him, and someone to build a defensive staff.  Canales has failed at developing a new qb. His big draft project XL is trending towards bust. His entire nfl resume before the panthers was one season as offensive coordinator on a stacked Bucs team, and being on the offensive staff when a 31 year old Geno smith finally put it all together. And he didn’t even pick his offensive coordinator. Assuming evero is gone, who’s he got in that phone to call? What low lvl porn addict evangelical from the bucs is ready to be Peter principled? There is nothing in his coaching history or his current performance that indicates he’s the person to move this team forward. Every other team knew this last cycle (panthers were only interview) and nothing has happened to change that perception   all people like you have is “well you can’t do it again it’s too soon but <random interval of time> will be different.  just pull off the bandage. There’s no reason to let this guy draft “his guy” except people wanting an excuse not to fire him after 2025.
    • Both Reich and Canales were saddled with trying to build and establish a viable scoring offense around Bryce Young. The best the offense looked this season and last season was with Andy Dalton who is also terrible but still better than Bryce Young. Which should be all anyone needs to know but still somehow there are weirdos here salivating over a ceiling of maybe on a really good day the 25th best QB in the league. We've already canned one entire staff over our first overall pick. You can fire everyone again to satisfy your need for vengeance and quickly come to the realization that your next hire will absolutely unequivocally be a downgrade yes man or you can blow up this QB room and then assess. If no progress next season then you can make changes and justifiably so.
    • Surprised this is the only post with this take.  This is like the Rhule kiss of death lol.
