Warning: Trap Game Incoming

Detroit secondary and pass defense is among worst in league.  I can see Tampa coming in a little overblown with themselves.  Just listening to the players this week and Rivera on Sirius yesterday I say both sides of the ball will be pumped to put this one away as soon as possible and keep the pressure on New Orleans.

Seattle is undefeated at home for what, two seasons now?  Yet Saints have the offense to put them away up there, we can't count on seahawks to even things up and I know the players realize going into the first saints game 2 games back is not ideal.  I don't see this as a trap game.

I've been to 3 NFL games so far.  Every time I go, the team I'm there to cheer for has lost.

I'll never buy tickets again if we lose this one.

I witnessed thirteen straight Panther losses at Ericsson/BOA before seeing them beat the Buccs in 2006 or so.

Never been back.

I felt the Miami game was a good lesson. The Panthers leaders/ captains have the hearts of lions. Based on what Tampa is doing they should be to smart to let this be a trap game. I am glad Tampa beat Detroit. It lets the rest of the team know that Tampa is the truth. Their quarterback doesn't compare to Cam but outside of that you can argue that they have more talent on the team. Our playmakers made the difference in the first game. Hopefully that will continue to be the trend this week.

How is the fact that it's Thanksgiving week relevant? I don't think the Panthers are the only team who gets a little extra time off for Thanksgiving. If both teams get a little extra time off and face those added distractions of it being Thanksgiving, then it's all null and void...unless you think the Bucs are more disciplined than us and can afford to take the extra couple days off.

Tampa is playing really good ball right now, and Glennon is playing smart. Tampa has got a lot of talent, especially on defense. If Glennon just plays smart and he gets a little time in the pocket; it will be a close game. All the talk about Panthers letting down; the big story is the Bucs getting up for the game; their season is over but they would love to knock down a rival-division opponent. And, they would love to remove the "joke" label they gained earlier in the season.

It'll take us a couple successful seasons to shake this shroud of doubt and self loathing that is hovering over us as fans....our team is focused and playing with passion....I don't see us dropping this game at home not after they swept us last year including that heart breaking loss at home....no way they are sleeping on Tampa.....31-14 panthers....keep pounding

I dunno - I think it will be closer than the first game, but I don't see Carolina slipping up at home.

yea i dont think we will just roll them, it will be a lot closer than the last game.  and that's not because it's a so-called trap game, it's because the Buccs are a good team that have found their groove and confidence.  i think the Miami game woke us up and it was a lesson learned.
