Starting to get worried ~

Not running well: Our O-Line play has been really bad (injuries) and teams are putting 8 in the box. Nothing you can do about that.

Drops: It hasn't been that bad apart from the SF game. The only huge one I remember from Sunday was the one by Ginn. I don't think this one is a huge issue.

Deep Ball: Deep balls have only been a factor for one week, don't count us exposed yet. Hopefully we can be a little more physical off the line, and CJ's return should stop a lot of these plays from happening.

Seems all the defenses we face are loading the box and pressuring the heck out of Cam.

We are not running well.

We are not blocking well.

We are not catching well.

We are not stopping the deep ball at all.

Fans were ready to roast Ron 7 games ago and now it's all 'Riverboat Ron'.  I don't mind the fickle fan  - but our coaches need to make better adjustments between series.  I am not saying throw away the game plan, but we have deficiencies that can hurt us.  One day they aren't going to pick up that flag in the end-zone.

Glennon / Tampa Bay didn't do bad against us.  We shut down Vjax because he had that huge game prior, but Underwood kept getting the ball.  We didn't put that Lurch looking QB on his butt near enough and that was with CJ.

I want us to be the team that gets hot going into the play-offs!  Staying hot...seems harder (?) to do.

Miami had Wallace - a man who made our DB's look silly.  Vjax can do the same.  Brees makes all his WR look good and Graham is a monster.  Not worried about the Jets or Falcons but we have some tough games ahead.  We have to lay some serious heat down with our front 4 and get some coverage sacks.

Above all else I wish we could get our running game going.  I hope Shula + Ron has a good game plan for the upcoming weeks.

I hear you, but you have to trust that Rivera will make adjustments and that the team will be ready. I am not concerned about our running game. It is legit. We've seen some relatively tough run defenses the last three weeks. Granted Luke has made some questionable plays, but I am sure the coaches will be on the case, and Luke is a smart guy.  We are missing some catches, but not to the point of being worried because we are making catches also.  One of the two things that I am fairly concerned about is our defensive backfield, but we all knew that would be a question before the season began. Are our defensive backs good enough to sustain our team's level of play deep into the playoffs? Hell if I know. I think that they may be depending upon our pass rush, which is m only other real concern. I would like our defense to generate more pressure than it has been lately, but it is what it is. It's not like we don't have a pass rush.

Overall, I am pleased. I am not worried at all. It is what it is. A seven game win streak means that we are doing something right, notwithstanding a couple of weaknesses or chinks in our armor. I believe that we have already surpassed expectations, especially considering how we began the year. We are squarely in the playoff hunt. Add a few more quality players on the O-line (of which who may already be on the roster among our injured), a defensive back (or two) who can actually hang with the best of them, and a big play WR (or two), as well as re-signing what we have at a reasonable price at wide-out, and I don't see any reason why we can't threaten for a title for the foreseeable future.
