We've got a high character locker room. And I've been hearing for several years how management needed quit being so "uptight" and quit being so stringent about character. I'm glad we haven't strayed from that philosophy.

My thing with this, because Cam rarely, if ever, gets national publicity out of things like this...it seems like he truly does things like this because he wants to. Not because it's what someone with is platform should do. A lot of famous people would do this and make sure its plastered all over media outlets or ESPN. Cam is constantly doing things like this to give back to his community, always interacting with the kids and putting smiles on faces, and winning games on Sunday to boot.

Guys like Thomas Davis and Steve have inspired me to do what I can. I bought a bunch of on sale kids Panther coats. I'm gonna give them to a coat drive. And TD got me doing Toys for Tots several years ago so I do that every Christmas too. I'm not looking for a pat on the back, just trying to say these guys inspired me and hopefully it inspires you guys too.

I'm thankful Marty Hurney wasn't a total dumbass.  Cam and Luke make me wish him a happy future, wherever that may be.

 

Even though they aren't giving us the same production they used too, so do, thomas davis, jordan gross, chris gamble, deagelo williams, jon beason, and jonathan stewart.

Caylin Newton, Cam's brother,  is a backup quarterback at Grady High School in Atlanta.  But the backup only because he is a freshman in high school.  Word is he is a better quarterback than Cam was at his age.
