I swear, I always say stupid sh*t over text or like Facebook messages or whatever. I have a tendency to wear my mind on my sleeve, and it's fine in real life because I can add body language to the context, or I can compensate and sort of fix whatever I say.

 

But damn, texting doesn't work like that. You say something stupid, and there is absolutely no recovery. You just have to sit there and stare blankly at it thinking "what the hell have I just done to myself?"

 

I swear, every "relationship" I have EVER had with a girl has ended because of texting. I'm charming as sh*t in person and I seriously do think that I can get a girl really into me and my personality, but the second something starts going bad for whatever reason, I'll send some stupid text that I instantly regret.

 

And I'm not talking about being a douche or anything. I think I always come across as if I care too much or I'm being too "clingy" or whatever over text. 

 

Man I dunno. I effectively ended something with a girl I really liked tonight because of a string of painstakingly awkward messages after a couple days of some really terrible "conversation" over text. I just need some consolation from strangers that wont tell me bullsh*t just to make me feel like less of a fool.

 

Anyone else have some fun stories?

Just like speaking my mind when I should be playing it cool. As an example, this girl asked me to hang out Tuesday, so I was down. I texted and called at the time she wanted to hang out, but she never answered, nor did she hit me up later telling me why.

 

Apparently, she was "busy" and her phone was "acting up", so I passive aggressively called bullsh*t and told her that she could've at least let me know after the fact rather than acting like it didn't happen.

 

After it sent, I realized how douchey and overbearing it sounded. Especially since it wasn't that big of a deal to me, it was just an annoyance. That's just an example though, I can just be a mad terrible texter a lot of the time.

just proof read your texts before you send them and ask yourself how you think she would take that.

 

i type, delete and retype texts constantly doing this. have a filter.

 

I suppose you're right. I almost feel like I wouldn't be satisfied until I sent them though. Like I said, I like to speak my mind even when I know it might not have a good outcome. Guess I need to watch it and filter myself out a bit more.

My girl and I have an agreement. No serious discussions via text.

If it's something important, it's in person if possible, phone if not. If text is the only option, then the discussion will just have to wait. No exceptions.

It's a policy I highly recommend.

 

I dig that. Sometimes it's not even serious discussions though, I just say things that would be fine and easy to play off as a joke in person, but it doesn't translate over text.

      It's really only been 2 games. The NO team was so bad their coach was fired after the game and Chuba and the defense carried the team to the win against NY. He's played better but I'm not willing to crown him QB god yet. I want to see more than 2 games or even the rest of the season. I want a full 3rd season with the occasional clunker because it happens to every QB, even the great ones. I just need more than what we've seen to this point.

How have either preformed since being traded let’s go deeper into that he had weapons. His top targets(week one) XL 7 targets DJ 6 targets Mingo 5 targets now the rookie has has about 8-9 games before Bryce’s return and we’ve seen XL develop some since the start of the season. And those other TOP weapons have a combined 3 catches in a combined 9 games since being traded. 5 for DJ 4 for Mingo these are the top targets your refer to as who he should have been shining with. Is it all on Bryce or these WRs being actual liabilities and not good players does that matter to you or should Bryce be able to elevate them? Do you really know football or is this my 12 yr old nephew spewing a childish mindset and asking us to accept it as serious football talk.  I’ve just seen the post from @Icege It’s sad after being shown actual facts you don’t know what you should be eating crow about buddy grow tf up. It’s ok to be wrong it doesn’t make you a bad guy you’re just wrong about Bryce . You said quote “Bryce can’t throw down field” do you still feel that way? You said a lot of nonsense that has now been proven wrong but we need to keep waiting right ok kool. I can agree with that we need more much more good play before we fully commit for next season, but to act like the progression being shown isn’t impressive as sht. We’re seeing Bryce play good while waiting on more consistency to crown em but you gotta get out of that dark place because living in denial is a bad place to reside.

      Thielen is a free agent, isn't he? And regardless we need a younger version of him anyway. I see XL + Coker as our #1 and #2 with Palmer as the #3 in that scenario.
