Meh.  Might have been an acting job, but the refs would have called that regardless.  The NFL wants to protect its investment, and it starts with the QBs.  We were going to get that call regardless.

You can talk about players slipping on the different surface all you want, but Cam "slipped" on the white line. 

 

I'm gonna go with flop.   Watching the replay in normal speed does make it look like a late push though

Why do you guys think he was so happy/overjoyed with his teammates?  Because he was hit late?  That usually causes scuffles, not laughter.

 

He baited them and they took the bait.  Good play, it worked and gave us an extra 15 yds

Cam does not go down when 2 300 lb guys are draped all over him, but the "not a hard hit" drops him like a sack of potatoes.

 

He flopped, got the flag and was elated.

LUUK did his own acting ....  it was helmet-to-helmet, but he threw his arms up so fast that he confused the refs.......  All part of the game though !!  The reversed call on the "out of bounds" in the one-but-last-last (??) drive of the dolphins was BS ... but .. also part of the game....

Even if he didnt flop, the person hitting him but both hands on him, while his feet were on the white. That's going to be a penalty 9 times out of 10 without the fall.

It wasn't a flop. That surface on the sidelines is there to keep cleats from tearing up the sidelines.  It also doesn't let you dig in with your cleats so when you hit it running you slide or fall.  Tons of guys have gotten hurt on the sidelines like that.  It wasn't a big push but it wasn't necessary either given he was going out of bounds.

Wait. You guys think he faked that fall? He honestly fell and that push was harmless. He wasn't trying to draw a flag but what should he have done rather the smile? "Hey, you should pick that flag up, I slipped." He always grins after making a huge play...
