It was a hell of a calculated risk, and one I don't think 90% of coaches could have gotten right.

We went from never catching a break in game ending situations to living a charmed life. 

 

Recovered two fumbles on the last drive in the SF game

 

Had a flag picked up in the NE game (the refs made the right call to pick it up, but still)

 

Wallace is in single coverage and drops a ball he probably should have caught. 

 

Maybe instead of Riverboat Ron, we should call him lucky Ron.

You were right. 

 

Rivera wasn't up to the job. But to his credit, he adjusted, and is now a much better coach for it. 

 

Ron HAS changed and adapted to be a better coach.

 

I hope he's learned/is learning, it takes BALLS to win, and comfort/safety/no balls, to be mediocre!!!!!!!

The one thing I didn't like was that he used the timeouts with 4-5 minutes left. That was basically going all in on the last drive when we didn't need to. We would have gotten the ball back with 3 minutes and 3 timeouts which is plenty to score a TD with, but it would also have given us a chance to get the ball back if we turned it over or had to punt.

 

It worked out though, thankfully!
