Success and failure go hand-in-hand.  Williams isn't doing enough to get on the field.  Point is, he hasn't been able to take any of Hartsock's minutes away from Brockel.  If I was on a team carrying 4 TEs, I would be worried.

Williams blocking ability isn't good enough to step into Hartsock's role. But his ability to get downfield and make catches helps him have a role.

We run package plays with our tight ends, where Cam can audible to either a pass or run on most snaps. Having a good blocking TE for runs and a pass catching TE for passes is what makes that package work best.
