Such a disappointing finale, but I know I shouldn't have expected more considering how bad these past few seasons have been.  To let a violent sociopath basically ride off into the sunset, totaly at peace, was absolutely lazy.

I haven't watched the series since Opie died but I watched the last two episodes out of pure curiosity. What the hell is up with the obnoxious awful music constantly being used in the last episode?

I was really hoping Jax would slowly and painfully be beaten to death in front of his crew as they were hopelessly having to watch, maybe the crew was kidnapped and tied up and had to watch, and then mowed down afterwards.

Kill Barowsky and kill Marks with no troubles, tie up every loose end for the entire criminal city, kill a King and put the blowback on someone else, avoid the law the entire time, avoid giving the same justice you HAD to give Gemma and Clay to yourself, and go out like a chump by killing yourself. Oh, and let's add some Bible BS symbolism.

I loved the way Kurt Sutter handled The Shield, and I was pretty excited with the first two seasons of SOA, but I've been hate-watching this final season, and quit about half way through. I don't even care anymore, other than to voice my disgust with the way a show that started out so cool could jump the shark so early and then get exponentially more popular every year. This is why we can't have nice things. The should have never gone to Ireland.

Even if I could somehow ignore all that, the idea of Jax just suddenly and casually deciding to turn himself into a hood ornament is retarded. Especially with how he reacted to Jury suggesting that his own father killed himself, and how they treated Juice for trying to kill himself.

 

To me, it seems like Sutter basically just ran out of ideas for where to go with it and came up with all of this at the last minute.
