I still feel like the new Sherriff isn't exactly what she says she is.  I get the feeling she's some undercover super cop with the way she doesn't seem to grasp how to do sheriff stuff (asking Unser for advice, often).  My guess is the DA (who has been suspiciously absent this season) got her in there to take down the club after last season's stuff went down.  People also think she may have planted a bug or something in Chibs' collar during the "scene" but I'm not sure.  All I know is, she sure started accepting money and got with Chibs really fast when she showed up.  

 

I also wouldn't be surprised if Jax and his gang are taken out by the rest of the charters, they made an effort to point out that there is more than just them last night.  As their numbers dwindle in Charming everyone is going to take notice (and with Jury's death).  

 

Jimmy Smits has been great on this show, and last episode when he's all "up in arms" when Gemma gets into a fight with the sherriff cracked me up.  Him and Wendy are the only salvagble characters on this show so we'll see if they live.

 

There is still way to much Gemma and the kid actor is so bad, they should have recasted, seriously.

Jimmy Smits has been great on this show,

 

She DEF has something she is holding back or keeping secretive. In one of her first interactions with the MC she openely invited Chibs.

 

Jimmy Smits character has truly been great. Nero is a man for sure. It really showed me that when Gemma was worried and called him to the cabin. He showed up at the cabin and said to Happy and a few others "Where is Gemma guys". Even though the assumption was that she was going to get offed by the club, Nero didn't seem intimadated at all.

From what I've read of fan reactions this is making the final season of Dexter look like Six Feet Under.

 

 

LOL

 

Its a honestly the best season in a while.  I started out watching it out of a sense of completeness as I had suffered through all of the previous seasons.  

 

It turned out that this season is one of the best.

I feel this season is one of the worst actually.  It's dragging on now with Gemma focused storylines even worse than before.  Sutter screwing the show up because his wife has to have half the screen time and also sing songs.  Rumors were that a LOT of the actors have been annoyed with that for while.  When Clay was taken out this show went full on Gemma-tard and filled Clay's spots with her.   

 

And my god that child actor.....

 

Still a fun and great show, just not going to touch Sutter's previous work in The Shield.
