Of the games left on the schedule, this one would be the least painful loss...

I really never want to lose the next one the most. I think it's because I read these threads from opposing teams fans on here and the thread of what this weeks opponent's fans are saying.

But, out of all the teams I guess this one (Miami) would be better to lose to. However, if we do I will be upset since we match up well and they have so many distractions.

Losing to the Bucs would be embarrassing especially at home. Losing to the Saints would hurt our chances at division title and possibly wildcard depending on how other teams do. Losing to the Falcons would just suck because they are the epitome of suck. Losing to the Jets would be like Buffalo all over again.

If we win tomorrow and sweep the Bucs, we'll be sitting at 9-3.  That's where I want to be rolling into the Saints game.  We're on too much of a roll right now and I really hope we don't lay an egg.

I am assuming we lose one to the Saints. I think thats realistic. I think we will split with them. I want this damn game tomorrow.

I worry about a bad loss that leads to a losing streak just as a gutsy win can propel a team to a winning streak.  No game is safe to lose at this point, not enough games left to recover if we slip a little bit with a crowded NFC playoff picture.

This team hates to lose on a given play, much less a game. They're not overlooking anyone, and Rivera is ready to ream people a new asshole if they don't bring the heat. And with the utter and full hatred Cam has of losing, I don't think they will not be ready to roll.

And let me point out something: this team's advanced metrics and Pythagorean theorem and point differential, etc. all say this team should be at least 13-3. We are an excellent team, bordering on elite if we stay consistent. This isn't a fluke run based on schedule and luck, we're playing like a dominant team and dominant teams expect to win every single game. Anything less than playoffs and high quality play on both sides of the ball from here on out is less than what this group is capable of.

Before you jump on my case with your bad juju nonsense, I don't believe in any of that crap.

So anyways, looking at the rest of the schedule, if the Panthers were to lose one more game (which is highly likely), the game tomorrow would be the one you would want to lose. On the road against an AFC team.

The rest of the games on the schedule are either at home, against a division rival, or both.

So, logically speaking, if you had to choose at gunpoint one game to lose from here on out, its Miami

That said, I think we win tomorrow. But just something to consider. A small part of me thinks if we need to lose one to get hungry and focused again as we are brought back down to earth, its against Miami.

Not true, if Atlanta was the only game we lost rest of the season we would 100% have home field advantage and be one TWO week bye (ATL being bye1 and Wildcard round being bye week 2) being the #2 seed. That is mathematically the only situation, unless you want to say someone in the NFC North wins the rest of their games the rest of their season... which I personally find mathematically impossible.

Can't afford to lose this game.

I don't trust division games. Literally anything can happen. Plus the Saints are out to prove a point - they're not who we saw last season. I swear Bounty Gate was the best thing that could have happened to them. Got them Ryan.

And the Jets are Jekyll and Hyde.

NFC wild card race is too tight to play around with winnable games.

Jets worry me the most.  Remind me of a mix between our own Panthers and the Cards.

Saints are def beatable.  Theyll move the ball and score some points, but so will we.  Game will be decided by turnovers and zebras.

I personal believe splitting the Saints game is a better loss. But it depends on where the other wildcard and teams with a chance to become a wild card team.

IMO, this team should be more focused on the play-offs, not concerned about just beating division rivals. Their vision should be winning period.

I had a bunch of posts all lined up to comment to. But you sir, have summed it all up nicely.

"This Team" is establishing its own culture. And it is night and day different from many of the past Panther regimes. "This Team" is expected to play smart, physical, and aggressive football. And the players have bought in.

With a talented and deep roster "This Team" is only going up. Hellz bellz, we just started the ride. We will be making upgrades and improvements along the way. "This Team" is on the verge of becoming "That Team".

Visit the Dinning Car, and have a sandwich. Or mosey on down to the Club Car, and have a drink. Bring a friend, bring many a friend, or come on your own. Anyway you make the train is a good way.

How long is Cam our QB? A dozen or so more years? So that means for at least the next decade, we are Super Bowl Contenders. Yeah, I went there. Oh?... We may not get it this year, but then again, we just may. But we do know we will be back again next year to pull a Big Brother and Bully the little kids, and show off for the girls.

tl/dr version. Until Cam finishes his HOF career, and as long as Rivera and Shula continue to grow, we will be in the convo for best team. Us and Sea. Fighting it out for Super Bowls, just like Brady and Manning did. Throw in G-man stocking and filling in the roster. We are definitely in a good spot right now.

Do not take what is going on lightly. Enjoy every moment. This is what we all hoped when we got this team. A Fuging Freaky Talented Franchise QB, leading a very good team, with quality football folks running the show. Life is good. Fuging enjoy!!!!!!!!! I tell ya what.
