All these band-wagoners are annoying af

I don't mind them except when I'm wearing my Cam jersey at Buffalo Wild Wings here in Cali and someone makes a snide remark about me being a bandwagon fan when they don't even know me. What they don't know is I've been watching Panthers games for as long as I can remember and other than a few select seasons, it's been basically viewed with a man of constant sorrow playing in the back of my head. Eat a dick bitch I don't need to explain myself to you on how I'm a Panthers fan in California I'll curb stomp your candy ass.

We know, Monsta, we know.

I welcome bandwagon fans for the simple reason that a small percentage will become diehards. Don't welcome bandwagon fans, and your fanbase dies. Encourage anybody who wants to root for our Panthers to do so. Treat them like any other Panthers fan.

It's a good day, folks. In a few short years, we'll be "that" team that other fans HATE because they'll all know at least one person who jumped our bandwagon.

I love one of these four things

1) people who think they can judge the reason why and when others decide to start liking a team. These people typically start a sentence with "well I've been a fan since '95".

2). Seeing Cowboys and Steelers jerseys everywhere I go rather than Panthers jersey.

3) people who say they don't like a band's music anymore because the band has become popular and has hits on the radio.

4) telling people who try to justify their reasons for judging others credibility by comparing it to themselves to go fug themselves.

ooh ooh ooh, I know...I got this...ohh...me me me...call on me...I got this....ooh ooh ooh ooh...over here...

Four things I cannot tolerate.

1. Guest Hosts on Johnny Carson.

2. Weekends at the inlaws.

3. Folks who are intolerant of others culture and beliefs.

4. The Dutch.

Every year I have to watch the games at BWW because the Panthers are rarely on TV in Kansas, I am usually the lone Panthers fan riding the "FUG YEAH YES YES NO NO NO NO NO NO YEEEAAHHHHH FUG YEAAAAHHH NO AWW HORSESHIT" emotional roller coaster that is watching them play. This year 3 new guys have shown up cheering for the Panthers and it has been great, it's nice to not be the solo screamer this year and has been fun to have strangers to run around and high five and yell with.

So as far as I can tell the more fans the Panthers have the more fun it is to watch the game, and the better home field advantage get.

I do think it's funny when I talked about heading to training camp to see the Panthers and asked if anyone wants to go, all I got was, "we don't waste our time on bad teams."

Then, now that we're 7-3, it's a whole different story.

What's just as annoying is wearing your Panthers gear as you normally have since day 1 and people are assuming YOU are the one jumping on the bandwagon.

Sent from my SPH-L720 using CarolinaHuddle mobile app

Ha! I went to buy a new hat at Dick's last weekend and there were 15 people shopping for new gear when there are usually zero. I felt embarrassed to be there.

The other side of that....I left and went to Lids and they had more Pats gear than Panthers.

Conclusion = bandwagon poo is better

I'm going to weigh in here on this subject and you aren't going to like what I have to say.........but I'm going to say it regardless.

Bandwagon fans???..........so what.......you better pray for as many of them as you can find.

What value and noble pursuit in life is it to be a true blue fan from the very beginning of a team through all the lean years only to take an arrogant position of being more noble when they start winning?

In case you haven't figured it out yet.................professional sports is a business...........and one of entertainment.

It does a sports franchise no good to have only die hard fans.....................the business lives and dies on the bandwagon participants..........in fact without them you wouldn't have any professional sports.

I know, I worked in sports marketing for over two decades and our bottom line lives and dies on the casual bandwagon fan.

All those PSL's that created the stadium here in Charlotte?  The majority are bandwagon fans............

How many are businesses bought blocks of PSL's that they use the for client and employee entertainment with little regard to who roots for what team?

You wouldn't have a stadium without the business bandwagon PLSs.......

Look, it's funs to root for a home team but to make it one's noble pursuit to justify their worship of that team is an over prioritizing of life, particularly when you criticize the person who takes an interest in a team when they start winning........

If we can have a sustained run of excellence with Cam/Rivera/DG at the helm, it would do wonders for the fanbase, just like the '03 run did.

The one local bandwagon fan base that I don't give a lot of grief are the skins, because they were the default home team pre Panthers. Don't get me wrong, I hate the skins, and I think all of their NC fans should have switched to Panthers, but it makes more sense that Dallas or Pittsburgh.

But the Skins are at kind of a crossroads. First off, if they change their name, they will alienate their old redneck fans, and if they keep their name, all of the young thin skinned pussies that think everything is racist might jump ship. Plus, their owner, coach, and starting QB are all major douce nozzles....and they suck.

I predict a lot of NC redskins fans seeing the light in the next few years.
