Cannon gets a relatively measly fine, we lose CJ for at least a week during a playoff push.  Dude should be suspended.

Cannon got the same fine as Ahmad Brooks for the completely legal hit on Drew "Crybaby" Brees.

You think about Drew Brees and the hit he took (against the 49ers). I love Drew Brees. He’s one of my favorite guys to watch, but that hit he took wasn’t a penalty,” Peterson said to FoxSports.com. “So they kind of baby the quarterbacks, but the running back, we’re like every other player. We get hit, and that’s what it is.”

It sounds like it is one of those deals where if it was a playoff game theyd juice him up and go, but it isnt.

We've got a good rotation of ends so it looks like we're content to matchup our backup vs. Miami's well documented backup RT and roll with it.

Brady was shredding us all game and they also ran through us all night well before CJ got hurt and the back ups, will now have had a week of preparation and not be shell shocked like they were when we unexpectedly threw them out there on prime time against Tom Brady. Our pass rush will drop off a bit for sure but losing CJ isnt a game changer like losing Cam or Keek would be. Also, Pouncey is most likely out so I expect big games from Dwan and KK.

Missed tackles is what really hurt us against the Pats

I'd be for a rule that would either result in a player being suspended for however long the guy he injured is out of the game.  That, or 90% of his paycheck goes directly to whomever he injured for however long that guy is out.

Not good!!!

No, not for the Miami game, but there is some good that will come from it--CJ rests up and gets a break to heal and our depth gets more experience.

Gettlemen is in negotiations with Hardy, who may want more than he is worth.  If Alexander or Horton steps up in a big way, Gettlemen might consider his options more confidently.
