A Panthers - Dolphins Predictions thread

Could have a repeat of the Arizona game. We are better than Arizona, but we didn't show up on the road and got our asses kicked after getting cocky.  Miami has the D to do to us what Arizona did, no question.

We just need a win, doesn't matter how it happens. Win this game and there's a good chance we can go into N.O. tied with them and the division on the line

I don't predict winners, but here are some things I think are likely to happen:

This game could be close if we come out flat, underestimate their defense, or receivers drop passes.

Tannehill and Wallace will connect several times.  Hopefully we can limit the damage in the points dept.  Unless they have balance on offense, the impact of Wallace's game should be minimal.

Expect low scoring early in this game.  We will probably be faced with a early challenge to stop them in the red zone and hold them to a FG.  It has to happen.  We rarely give up TDs in the first half.  Being that we are on the road, though, any perceived lack of focus will give the Dolphins confidence.

A focused Cam gets himself out of trouble and makes plays in the second half.  As long as the defense holds form, this could be the difference.

Turnovers could play a big role in the outcome.  Miami needs it to happen because otherwise they can't hang.  Don't give them the opportunity.

Wouldn't mind seeing us get down by a couple of scores early to get the jucies flowing and the confidence of coming from behind. It's going to happen soon or later and might as well be on the road against a decent team. Panthers will pull away in the end...27-20.

We were still playing hesitant and not good football when we rolled into Arizona.

This team is not the same now. Will be closer tha. Some here predict, but we still win.

24-17 panthers

Cam throws for 300+, runs for 100+. Defense gets a couple turnovers. Smitty causes psychological chaos in the dolphins' secondary. Stuart runs through gaping holes. Dolphin fans head to the exits half way through the 4th wondering why their team didn't show up. Frowning as they look up at the scoreboard:

Panthers: 38

Dolphins: 6

8-3.

I've heard this from "superior" teams fans; Bengals this year(w), Colts this year (w), and Seahawks last year (w). Sorry but this is the NFL and anything can happen.

Cam may get it to Olsen(most likely have a 100+ yard game), but I don't think you'll see that much of Smith with Grimes on him.

Panthers experience hangover from Monday night and offense sputters a bit, resuling in more field goals.

Panthers 26  (4 FG's)

Dolphins 20

Two TD's and @FG's in the second half?  Looks to be a tall order for us to get to 26 at the moment.

Hangover for sure
