How easy (or hard) is it for you to watch games?

I am a nervous wreck each and every Sunday the Panthers are playing.

This for me.

I'm mentally exhausted after the game. It's pretty sad almost. My dad would always give me poo for yelling at the TV when I was living at home.

I'm only 25 so every now and then I go back home and watch football on Sundays. I work out of my house and my job is 24/7 so it's nice to get away. My dad, 2 sundays ago said I shouldn't get so worked up over grown men playing a sport. He has a point but I can't help it. I love football and i love the Panthers.

Anyone else ever have to justify to someone why they get so worked up over these games? If so what do u say?

It's primal man. This is our tribe. If they don't get it, you can't explain it.

I let the tivo buffer build up, and skip forward when the defense is on, then if there is a good defensive series I back up.  Otherwise I move on.

Its just something that I started doing to remain calm during the game lol.   I have that game rewind deal so I can always watch the full games later.

I can't speak for myself since I've long been a football guru, but I feel like most people who don't know jack poo about football have the worse time watching it.

Go to any bar and see how upset people get when a QB throws it away instead of taking a sack and their reaction clearly demonstrates they think TDs should be scored per pass.  Said reaction follows after every play, whether it be on offense or defense.  If Hardy doesn't get 10 sacks by the 2nd half, he done fuged up...

It's very hard to watch the Panthers play away games on TV. I feel like I have no way of offering support and cannot help impact the game. Needless to say I wanted to keel over and die during the final minutes of that San Fran game.

I much prefer beating teams soundly. Even though sometimes those game aren't considered great entertainment because they lack those heart stopping plays.

Nervous Thurs until the game...then I usually stay at home to watch the games on the nfl ticket since I live far away from the Carolinas....Made the mistake by going out to Buffalo Wild wings for the big MNF.....was told to turn the voice down a few times.....then after the W I feel good until about mon or tues then it cycles back....thinking about who we're about to play....who they have hurt...who's hurt for us and how it will make it hard for us to win...then look down the schedule to see how many other games we can win if we do lose this game and look at the Saints schedule to see where they could stumble.....man this is a crazy process.....KEEP POUNDING!!!!
