Would it be better to not re-sign Peppers?

But what's very important is that Stewart plays through the injury while staying very consistent.. DWill has been suspect up until this year with injuries. I think they may balance out, but just because DWill stayed relatively healthy last year doesn't mean the other years are moot and that he won't have more in the future.

Deangelo Williams had nearly 1000 carries for over 6000 yards in his 4 year College career. Has played in all but 3 games as a Pro in his rookie season. There is no question as to his durability.

Get rid of peppers for what ever you can get for him.

I really dont like his attitude and letting it infect the rest of the team is a mistake. personally I wish we had traded him for a good first round single pick or a high 2nd.

So, did he rape your sister or what?...

thomas davis has to be in our long term plans, imo. i would hope the choice we made in letting witherspoon walk isn't a too distant memory. choosing to spend our money on a 30 year old defensive end (though he's an athletic beast) who is on the decline, meanwhile sacrificing being able to sign our young guns (td, dwill, etc.) for a guy that just got done making 1M per game and would rather not be locked down in the QC scares me.

You mean the 29 year old that just had his best sack total of his career last year?...

i agree he had one of his best years last year, but i've never been a big fan of dolling out a ridiculously high contract to players that hit 30 years old. when pep re-signs with us he will be 30 and, imo, his skills will be on the decline for the duration of that new contract. our defense is better with him in the lineup and he still is a top notch de, but i'd hate to lose out on a 26 year old linebacker or a 26 year old premier rb b/c of the signing of peppers.
