Marcus Cannon was fined $15,750.00 for his leg whip on Charles Johnson. And Johnson has officially ruled out for the Miami game.

So its 15k for attacking a player and trying to hurt him on offense. But if a defensive guy touches a QBs mask or a player hits too hard its 50k and up. Talk about double standards.

Johnson said Cannon came to him after the game, apologized and said he didn't mean to do it, and Johnson

said he had no problems with it.

 

CJ said that but Taylor Zarzour showed him the play on his cellphone and  CJ got angry. He's just playing nice in the media.

Apologize, sure, sorry for it, ok, but there is no way on earth after seeing that replay 100 times that he didn't know exactly what he was doing.  He knew he was leg whipping him, he was just determined to not let him get to the QB even if it was a penalty.  Glad they fined his ass, and wish it would have been flagged because it probably would have kept the pats from scoring and may have even prevented Brady from even being able to tie at the end.

Brady should not have been fined, plenty of players shout at refs and don't get fined.

Cannon got beat and flailed out, but he didn't mean to hurt cj, it wasn't dirty.

Deal with it.

 

I can agree about Brady, but not Cannon.

 

A good number of fines may go to guys who "didn't mean to hurt anyone" but the result is the same whether intended or not.

Cannon spun around on his butt with his leg stretched out and elevated.

I don't think he was going for the knee... But he was def trying to trip CJ... Who had just beaten him and was going to make the tackle in the hole.

I still think he got off easy if the 15,000+ fine is true. Anyone that plays most sports knows you don't fugg with the knees

Can you imagine all the whining that the pats fans and the media would be doing if a panthers player leg whipped a pats player like that,  I hope Welker and the Bronco's stomp the **** out those Dirty *****!!!
