Its obvious to me that Ginn wants to be great. I cant believe he was wasted for so many years. . . lol and you guys think Smitty didnt get to reach his full potential. This guy almost didnt get to show any of his outside of returning kicks.

He also played like poo with Chad Pennington as his qb.

 

Ginn is not a good WR.....hes a #3 with top end speed. He will thrive on a team with a clear #1 (smitty) and a seam busting TE (Olsen) and be a special teams ace. Thats it. Hes in a good spot now.

I tell you Ginn has worked out really well here. And if makes 3-4 more catches (we know which ones) you could actually say it's worked out pretty great. Right it's just really well. An excellent offseason pickup and he's brought a lot to our team.

ginn has also shaken that "doesn't like to get hit" tag this year. remember that catch and bulldozing 3 defenders to the 1 yard line. Ginn has played lights out minus that one big drop.

Agreed, but thats my point, he cant really excell an entire game running the WR route tree. He may get soft coverage and hit a stop route like Monday, but hes not going to bring an package of routes you have to prepare for. Hes not a #1 WR. nor a #2. Nor a slot. Hes a guy that if he can catch it.....will take the top off a defense and make the safety on that side account for him. Hes a good asset to have, hence a great #3.

He just had to find the right offense and QB, if I remember correctly Dolphins fans weren't too happy with the selection. I'd love to see Ginn next year paired up with Mike Evans, but it would take a Star level fall for that to happen.
