Ginn's catch lost in the shuffle (as pointed out by David Newton)

Panthers' Ginn Jr. is relevant too, according to David Newton, and he's right.  Let's show some love to this week's  "forgotten man", because the catch and run meant a lot to him.

Because high-profile quarterback Cam Newton threw Monday's game-winner and there was a controversial no-call in the end zone on New England's final play, Ginn's touchdown has been almost lost in the shuffle.

But the play wasn't lost on Ginn or his family, many whom were at Bank of America Stadium to witness it.

"This was very, very big in my life, in my family's life, just the way it made my parents feel walking out of here," Ginn said. "My father [Ted Ginn Sr.] as a coach . . . to only have his son make one catch and it be that, it means a lot."

I'm glad that Ginn is getting his second chance. Though he may never be expected to be a big time WR in this league (like he was when he was drafted), and in many ways has been the forgotten man, we will not forget him as Panthers' fans.

Ginn would be crazy to go elsewhere after this season, and we would be stupid to let him go.

Oh and nobody has brought up the fact that Ginn will be playing the team that drafted him and then chased him outta town, this week. His emotions will be running even higher than the SF game.

It was a great catch and run.  I don't know if any other WR on this roster scores a TD on that play.

I also give a lot of credit to Cam on the play.  As Gruden pointed out, it looked like Lafell up the seam was the first option but the safety took that away, so Cam went to Ginn.  Ginn came back to the ball and showed great concentration by bringing it in.  It was not an easy catch by any means.

Beyond the obvious, critical situation that was, I was amazed at the play Ginn himself actually made.  He caught the ball around the 20 yard line on a comeback/sit-down route, twirled, and ran it 19 yards, beating about 4 defenders to the goal line.  That, ladies and gentlemen, was super impressive.  Cam gets credit for the drive down the field, as he should, but Ginn should get about 90% of the credit for that touchdown pass alone.

He got sooooooooooo much hate from Miami fans its insane. Not his fault he got drafted so high, and before Revis and Patrick Willis (FML)......I am terrified he comes out balls blazing against us. I'd squib kick everything, all game!

Also wasn't his fault that Miami had a revolving door of crappy QB's during his time there.
