JR goes out before the game and talks to fans and tailgaters. I have been on of those who met him that way. And he didn't have an entire group of people to keep everyone at a distance. He had 1 female security guard driving him around in a dark blue jeep.

so what i've gotten from this thread so far is that meeting jerry one time at a tailgate = knowing him personally well enough to pass judgement on his moral character, and building wealth elevates you beyond reproach so long as other people enjoy the bi-products of that success. i've also learned that a few anecdotes from some people who knew him back in the day is a sufficient sample size for which the sum total of knowable richardsonness is expendable.

Well, you're citing "family friends," when I have met the man many times. Other people here also have had positive personal experiences with Mr. Richardson. But, go ahead ... use your second-hand "friends" sources.

 

I know, personally, Mr. Richardson to be a very warm, personable and generous man. There are more stories than the Olsen one or the one of his attending a PSL owner's funeral. Stories you'll never hear or read about in the media.

 

Ahhhh so that must be why you know so much about training camp. Cause it wouldn't be because you're somehow associated with the Panthers.

What does JR have to do with the actual game? This is when I start to have disdain for media. They focus on all the wrong things, because they can't search hard enough for a relevant and read-worthy story.
