PJ Walker has as many wins as Bryce in 1/3 the starts. PJ Walker is a better NFL QB and PJ Walker is at best a 3rd string QB. -
I started a reply talking about his cap hit for next year (~31.5mil). Looking deeper, releasing him would only save us 17.5mil since ~14mil is signing bonus. I’ve now switched my thinking to the right choice being keeping Moton through next year. The 17.5mil we would save in releasing him could net a RT in the 8-12ish ranking for the position. So we might as well keep him as a veteran leader and career Panther. A valuable trade offer would be the only reason to move him. -

An old guy who is still playing at a high level is only 1 sorta major injury from retirement. Recovery time is longer for the nagging stuff.
