As a panther fan I want Greene to make it after being a finalist in 2012 and 2013.  He really was a force on that 96 squad.  You knew when the game was on the line he was going to make a play.  He might have been quiet for a quarter but when the game was on the line he was going to get a sack. He was a beast when he had to be. His three years were the most productive of his career. He averaged a sack a game (41.5 in 47 games).  His 160 sacks ranks 3rd all-time behind 2 guys, Bruce Smith and Reggie White, already in the hall.

He is surely worthy.

FYI: I've been to an enshrinement ceremony in Canton. I've been to the NFL HOF twice in the past 5 years. The first time I went was the enshrinement ceremony from 2010. I got to meet Gale Sayers and there's a good chance if you were watching NFLN during that time, that you saw me walking around in the background. I have it DVRd. The guys are sitting around talking - and my dumbass is walking around with my exGF the entire show.

It was awesome and the room with the busts is incredible. I got a picture of me putting my head on the place where Jerry Rice's bust would later be placed.

I went back last year and I have a picture of the ball that Cam set the QB rushing TD record. It's in the room that has all the jerseys/cleats/gloves/etc from big games. The gloves/jersey/cleats of Brandon Marshall are in there too from when he had like 25 catches that one game. The jerseys from Brady/Manning/Brees are in there from when they set those personal records as well. I'd post some pics on here if I could figure it out.

    • For the silly people that worship her it will be that.  The Coleman 'legend' thing, they did that with another fairly average player that was here and I sort of mocked or questioned the 'legend' status. Instantly caught crap for insulting someone's favorite Panther. So okay, Kurt Coleman is a Legend.
    • You allow him to compete--you all are talking as if I am proposing making him the starter. Give him a new coach, new weapons, good OL, etc. and see what happens. You are saying, "Well Damn.  It did not work for 3 guys..."  Right now, our C is injured, we lost our top 2 WRs.  Better question:  If you need a QB, Why would you not take a chance on bringing in a QB who was a former first rounder, a good arm, intelligence, mobility, youth, etc.  and see how he does out of NY--with a better OL, better running game, better receivers.  I am not saying give him a 10-year contract, I am saying give him a chance. You act like there is no improvement on offense here--it was a 2 year process, and next year is year 2.  To me, how can you sit there with Bryce and an opportunity to sign a veteran QB on the cheap comes available and you say--"Not us. We're good.  We are waiting for Patrick Mahommes."  Jone's problem is obviously mental--and he has little support.  Why is this so frigging hard to comprehend.  It is called "bottom fishing" and it is better than sitting in the boat.
    • I think we're going to fall from behind quite early and be forced to abandon the run game.  3 rushes -2 yards 1 catch -10 yards
