Lol. He is still the same player, which is a decent nickel. He has had poo years, but now that we have a dominant front four, he's all the sudden good? I'm not bashing him, because he's the best we got. But you can bet your ass that if we got a decent trade offer for him, I would take it in a heart beat. Same player. Defense is giving up a little over 13 points a game.  Cornerbacks are gonna miss some passes, otherwise Cap would be lining up in the slot.  The game's alot faster than it looks and I think its a lot harder for the DB to make the INT despite the replay showing it hits the guy in his hands.  I think I will give him a pass.

Look at the game a second time, for an obvious reason the Pats are throwing the football White side, Brady is a smart Qb and he saw the weakness in our defense. Don't get me wrong White is a promising CB but he is doing mistakes.

Captain is one of the most underated CB and based on the ranking of the Panthers's defense this thread is pointless.

He needs to do some JUGS work for sure. Not calling him out by any stretch; for being a smurf, he's one of the surest tacklers on our team, and routinely brings down receivers with at least 8 inches and 50 pounds on him.

 

But if he brought in even half the interceptions he's dropped he's be a sure Pro Bowler this year.

I think his arms are long for his frame. That and his vert are what make it possible from him to do what he's doing, imo.

 

 

and Minter never got respect either. Wasnt until he was over 30 that people started giving him praise. Its a tough life being a DB.

Cap is good except against taller receivers, but that is to be expected.  He's probably more worried about stopping a completion than catching it, which is ok.
