(ESPN) Sports Science examines game-ending call

That could have been interesting since Navy and Liberal are about mutually exclusive and stereotyping those together could prove to be a task. For the record, I'm a Democrat, not necessarily a liberal and I retired from the Navy 20 years ago...

Take the first sentence and apply it to what you wrote. Such as anti-science and ------. It's not a task to sling rhetoric with ideology. For the record I don't care what you are.

Because ESPN can't let it go...

They conveniently ignore the fact that Gronk would have had to teleport through Robert Lester to make the catch.

Totally agree with the teleportation. Everyone at ESPN and ALL of their shows never ever mention that Robert Lester caught the interception. Gronkowski had no chance to stopp his momentum, pivot AND teleport through Lester to make an attempt to catch the ball. Gronk is good, but damn, it aint like that bruh. Knock it off!!

In what world would a man traveling 16mph be able to stop in half a second? Science? Really? There is no doubt that kuechly committed an infraction on this play, but it is equally true that this ball was not catchable. With science like this, politicians are shaping their own world views just fine irrespective of reality

PS - same crap "science" used to show that Cam Newton ran 75+ yards to gain 15

What I wrote was edited and removed by me just so sensitive people such as yourself wouldn't get twisted up about it. Guess I wasn't quick enough.

If that's what passes for Science in America today, we're all doomed.

There are so many variable left out and the ones they do used applied incorrectly.  So, Gronk really has Luke's entire 235 lbs of force against him.  What speed was Luke moving at because they would incrase the amount of force?  How much surface area of the force being applied to?  I could go on and on.  It's just brainless spectulation with some random numbers added.

It's called juking the stats. Use the components that agree with your reality but leave out EVERY OTHER one as well. QB rating and QBR are done the same way.

ESPN is so butt hurt about the Pats losing. They just won't let it go. Every Ref that is interviewed says it's the right call and the NFL backs up the call. Pat fans just need to stop crying about a call that didn't go their way. There was an olineman clearly holding on the winning drive against the Saints and their fans were as quite as a mouse about the no call. But when the call goes against them they raise Hell. A lot of these Pat fans are such spoiled bitches.
