If Hardy walks...bring back Pep?

So let me start off by making the following statements:

1 I don't want Hardy to walk

2 right now Hardy > Pep

3 many people are still butt hurt that Pep left, this is an entirely different conversation, but I don't blame Pep for wanting to go elsewhere, I blame the FO

4 Pep will go down as one of the Top all time Panthers ever, and to repair his relationship with the Carolina's, he should come back ON THE CHEAP, play his ass off, and finish his career and retire a Panther.

5 there has been talk in Chicago this season that they may cut him

So my question is, if we dont resign Hardy, and Pep gets cut, would it be good for the Panthers to bring him back?

depending on the deal I would NOT be opposed to this. I agree with all of your bullet points

If we make a deep playoff run (god willing), I don't believe Hardy would walk almost regardless of the contract situation. As long as it's reasonable

I was listening to WFNZ yesterday afternoon (forgot which segment) and they were saying that Drew Rosenphucface is in Hardys ear, telling his to cash it in next season. Think about it, agents are paid commission based of how much money they get you.

Obviously GH could go somewhere else for the big pay day, but it won't be with the Panthers...unless he gives us a discount.
