I love Davis, and I think it is a statement about his desire and work ethic that he recovered from 3 knee surgeries.  However, he does not talk about it like he is super human.

 

AP, Robert Griffin III, etc. all talked as if they were going to be back sooner because they were a cut above.  What is the common denominator--the real miracle worker in all of this ACL stuff?

 

Dr. James Andrews.  Why do all of these super humans come to Charlotte to see him whenever they have ACLs? 

 

While TD has the work ethic and heart, he knows that Dr. Andrews is the miracle worker here.

I don't think one persons above another one in terms of "heart and soul" and that's what makes this defense great... it plays together as a unit, with heart.

This thread has ginx written all over it...it should be printed off, removed, and taken to Belk tower on UNCC campus and burned. 

 

I'm a huge TD fan.  Always have been and always will be.  TD's definately deserving in the running for our team def mvp, but let's just wait to see how the season goes.  Right now, I'd say it's a tie between TD and Luke.  The effort those guys put into these games is insane. 

 

And for the record...I'm one of those that lambasted Luke's coverage on the last play in the NE and Buf games as well.  Can't do that crap.

 wanted to make this point, but couldn't word it correctly without coming off as sounding anti-TD.  It's when we get into personalities that we deviate from the "team" approach and get into trouble.  Keep pounding.
