So you think that during the 25 second play clock the Patrriots coaches were watching the Panthers defensive coaches, instantly deciphering the play call, and then manually signalling this information to Brady, who then changed the play, communicated this change to the offense, and then snapped the ball?

I have watched the NFL for 40 years, often five games a week, and never seen a team embarrass football like that. First, when they had third and 12 on the last drive, they chose to fake a penalty on McCourty essentially saying we are incapable of converting. Then they have two defenders in Gronkowski and basically admit they can’t cover him were one, with his back to the ball, wraps his arms around him and pushes him out of bounds. I watch the elite teams every week and Carolina is not an elite team. The great teams would have made the first down (or at least tried) and an elite team with a double team would have broken up the pass and not tackled the reciver. Elite, I never thought I would say this but they are worse than the jets. I also expect their defense to get worse. Teams in small markets often get a lot of calls until they are on the big stage, when everybody is there to see it. Then suddenly that hands on defense gets worse as they are no longer getting away with the mugging. The patriots will win or lose and lord knows there have been calls that have not gone their way over the last decade+. But as people put it, this was the worst even compared to Green Bay last year.
