Pretty sure they also backed the Seahawks vs Packers "simultaneous catch" too. I'm happy with the win, but it was a bad call. If what Luke did is legal, then everyone in the NFL is playing defense wrong...

If the ball is uncatchable, which anyone with even a basic understanding of physics and body mechanics can see, it's not a penalty.

It was the right call because that is the rule.  If you don't like the rule it doesn't make it a bad call or no call in this case.

Neither holding nor illegal contact apply when the ball is in the air.

It's PI or it's nothing. There are no other choices.

My opinion is that PI would have been a bad call. He was going towards the back of the end zone and never made an effort towards the ball, the ball was way out of range and Lester was in front of it. 

 

If they called anything it could have been holding.
