I think Shula sometimes runs it bc he is happy with 2-3 yards and be clock moving. Time of possession. I don't think he runs it bc he thinks it fools anyone or something big will happen

makes sense between the 20s. but I believe this was the third time we'd used the wildcat in the redzone this season.

They keep running the wildcat because Deangelo is eventually going to throw it. Probably saving it for playoffs.

I wasn't a fan of Shula...and I'm still not. If you put the defense from the last two years in place of the AWESOME one we have now, we would suck. Shula is average at best. Statistically we have one of the worst offenses in football.

that is incorrect. We at rated in the.middle of the league.

Thank you for talking out of your ass today.

I don't know how much is Shula and how much is the continuity of the offense staying the same that has helped Cam more. He went from his high school offense, to Florida's offense, to Blinn's offense, to Auburn's offense.... a new system every season. He comes to Carolina and his first year, due to no training camp, gets a diminished playbook and they use him more as a pure athlete than a QB. His second season he focuses more on the playbook because it's the first camp he had with it and his coordinator leaves him after the season. By staying "in house" with Shula, we gave him a little stability and a little stability can go a long way with a young quarterback and one as talented and smart as Cam. You can see him now using the presnap for more than blowing into his hands and clapping. He's out there pointing things out and barking calls like a veteran. Because he finally knows exactly what he's looking at out there.

I would also give a big share of credit to Ken Dorsey. It's quite clear that Cam trusts his opinion because after every single bad throw or turnover, he's over with Dorsey going over the printout. Having a X and O's guy as smart as Dorsey to bounce his ideas off of on the sideline has been highly beneficial for him.

We are 22nd in total offense and 28th in passing offense. That's from nfl.com...Not my ass btw

And yet we're the 4th most efficient team at turning those yards into touchdowns. Absolutely nothing wrong with that, not to mention that we dominate time of possession, so we don't have as many drives to increase our yardage totals.

You are a dumb poster.

You are dumb and obnoxious

Red - You are so lucky to be able to hide behind a computer. In the world that I have spent the last 20 years you would be getting your ass beat on an hourly basis due to your arrogance and lack of social etiquette .

That is not what I said or meant. I have always been behind Cam. Were you born a prick or have you just worked really hard at being one?

That is what you said, and what you meant. Read your posts. You even supported the talk of "trading" him. So it's back to insulting people that have the audacity to disagree with you? Like in your last thread that backfired? You created these threads. Own up to it.
