Biggest difference from last year?

Is it...

1) Better players on the roster, courtesy of Dave Gettleman

or

2) Better coaching by Ron Rivera and his staff

If you have to pick one, to which do you give more weight?

So...I'll take 1. Better players, especially in the back end, lol, back end. Our roster is top shelf. So...I guess we go with Gman.

But you cannot take anything away from the job Rivera and his staff have done.

100% luck for sure.  We've definitely been getting lucky.  Brandon LaFell's fumble against Atlanta, bounces right back into his hands.  Two fumbles against San Francisco, we recover them both.  Questionable call at the end of the Pats game that in every other season would have gone against us, we get the call.  There's something special about this year.  After all that bad luck last year, the universe HAD to repay us somehow.

Better to be lucky than good.

This is the ultimate team sport and I feel like everyone is doing their fair share of work from Offense, Defense, Special Team, Coaching, & Staff.  Where playing as a team and its showing up on the field.

If we hadn't gone 1-3 to start the season I would have said it was the players without question. All things being equal and making no assumptions that is the only thing that has changed. However, we did lose unnecessarily in the beginning with those same players that are balling now. Because of that, I have to go with the coaching improvements. There has been a noticeable change in aggressiveness and an obvious benefit on the field.
