We are getting off the field a little quicker on D, and we are staying on the field longer on O.

 

Ginn, Star, Short, Mitchell, Mikell

 

Without them, I think that we are an average team again this year.

The old Panthers and Rivera would have shut it down on that last drive and kicked the FG.  We would have gone to OT and prob lost.

I agree with both but feel the maturation of Cam and his improvement should way in as well. I would say Ron but he keeps throwing in that stupid wildcat play that bites us in the ass. Cams distribution of the ball is sooo much better. We added some safeties that has made our defense nasty and we had a decent draft.

Better Cam, better Rivera, awesome GM bringing in good hungry players for cheap Excellent drafting this past year as well.

 

 

Plus the refs have stopped cheating us out of the game as much too.

Absolutely both.  Rivera is coaching smarter and we have more talent on the D line allowing our linebackers and DB's to play better.

 

We're also using our offensive weapons correctly instead of trying to build a coaching resume'.

ball control offense and cam's 3rd down play are the two most important things.

 

 

So, it has to be coaching.

If I had to pick one it'd be Rivera learning how to coach.
