For as athletic as Keek is, I don't know why he finds himself in these type of situations late in games. I don't know why he doesn't turn around and make a play on the ball? The same thing happened in Buffalo and we lost. IIRC, it happened before this season as well, at least once.

It appears to me that Keek is targeted in his matchups in pass coverage late in games. In my observations, he is great when the play is in front of him, including in pass coverage. He has made plenty of plays breaking on the ball for INTs. The problem is when he is chasing behind the play, like in Buffalo and last night's game. All he has to do is turn his head back to the ball, swivel his hips, and attempt to make a play and this is a non-issue.

For as awesome as Luke is, he HAS to shore this area of his game up. Otherwise, he lost one game for us and almost cost us another.

My whole thing with the whole play is that even if Kuechly wasn't there Lester would have still intercepted it.

He had a VJax flashback and correctly decided it would be better to take the penalty than allow any chance for a TD. What he didn't know is that the ball was under thrown and Lester jumped it FTW.
