So now we have to hear folks critiquing our MVP on D like they're the smartest person in the room.... And acting like he's a mistake machine.... Right...

 

He's our MVP on D, but he took a big gamble and this time it didn't affect the game. He had a big pass interference call against the Bills which gave 30 yards and put them in the red zone. He's playing great, but on the edge.

We're all Panther fans here so we can be honest with each other. Luke almost cost us that game. Tom Brady bailed him out by throwing a bad pass, if he puts that ball over Gronks head we lose that game.

It was the right call but it was only the right call because Brady threw a bad pass. For comparison look at the pi call we got against the guy defending Olsen. Cam wasn't trying to complete the pass he threw that ball to a spot to draw the flag, smart play by Cam.

Love, love, love Keek but he played pretty awful on that final Pats drive.  I have no idea what he was attempting to do both on the Gronk play down the seam that they converted on 4th down and on that final play.

Luke had an okay game. I don't see why we can't discuss it. He made plenty of good tackles, but that final drive was pretty bad on his part. The 4th down play he got all out of sorts and gave up the play to Gronk.

 

 

 

And he very nearly cost us dearly on that last play.

Luke's big mistake was never turning around.  I think he saw Gronk's eyes get big and thought he was getting ready to jump up and make a catch.  Luke starts to jump too but stops himself and loses his balance.  You can see him try to hold up as he he puts his arms around Gronk trying not to touch him as he falls.

 

Kinda like Gronk had cooties and he was trying not to touch him.
