Oh really NE? You lost on a controversial call? That's...

it's the shitty ESPN commentators causing this bullshit... the ball was uncatchable and intercepted.

I can see defensive holding BUT that isn't the ball at the 1... and that just means the refs missed a call, like they did several other times that game

I believe holding does not apply after the pass is thrown.

If the quarterback or the receiver of the snap demonstrates no further intention to pass the ball (i.e., hands off or pitches the ball to another player, throws a forward or backward pass, loses possession of the ball by a muff that touches the ground or a fumble, or if he is tackled) the restrictions on the defensive team prohibiting illegal contact, an illegal cut block, or defensive holding against an offensive receiver will end.

Just re-watched the Dilweed Young rant about the last play, I am appalled at the lack of talent these guys have as announcers. I have lost respect for Gruden to, (what very little I had in the first place). Sorry sorry commentary, they never have made such a fuss on other teams controversial calls...such one sided it's so obvious. Fug all of them.

It is funny that everyone thinks they lost due to that call.  First of all there is no guarantee they go in from the 1 if they get the call. I remember that we stopped them on 4th and 1 earlier in the game which is why they elected to kick a field goal earlier in the fourth quarter instead of going for it.

Secondly how many of their drives were extended by penalties and other calls in their favor.  On the drive where they ultimately fumbled, we stopped them on 4th down, then stopped them on third down only to have penalties extend the drives.  It was only sweet justice they fumbled.  Later in the second half at least 1 of their TD drives was extended by penalties and that last drive was extended by 2 penalties not including the flag which was picked up.  If not for penalties I doubt they score 13 points.

Yeah I know we had a drive extended with penalties but honestly they seemed to get the majority of them.  Something they ignore amidst all the bitching.

I don't have any pie left now after my pie-giving spree from around midnight last night, but if I did, I'd give you one for this post.

If Mccourty had the same play on olsen to end the game...Panthers fans yes. ..would be in an uproar. However the media would have dedicated 12 seconds to it and said you had three other qtrs to get it done..nice effort Carolina..moving on to Toms bradys best turtle neck sweaters. .the top 10 list after this...

This.

Tom Brady lost so much respect from me last night.  Never really liked him, but i respected him. Not anymore... Acting like a fugging child and running off the field talking poo.

Since when do players think they have the right to Intimidate or question the ref?? Those zebras are Zeus and you better stfu cuz they will remember you and stick a lighting bolt up your ass when you least expect it... .   (like when we meet again in the superbowl. :)

to be honest.. i think the refs did a damn good job last night. they missed some things, didnt call some things that i thought should of been called, but they let the boys play.. and what they did call were blatant penalties that i couldnt disagree with.

Only thing that would have made this win better would be black pants :D

Tom Brady is a 'cry baby', his actions with the ref. was unsportsman like conduct, to say the least! The way that he treats his fellow players also is unacceptable and just plain wrong! He should be fined and suspended for last nights 'lack luster' performance. The call was good and the only one that should have been made, thank you for an alert ref!!!!!! Grow up Brady or retire.........

One of his teammates should punch him right in the 'snot locker' when he acts in that way to his teammates. I have never seen any other player in the league act like he did last night. Fine him and suspend him for ?? games. This is not a way that should be taught to our young fans watching him/the game.
