For you ignorant fugs i said you guys were the better team yesterday hands down. Easily! Offense was efficient and defense was stout for majority of the game. You just aren't anything to be feared sorry lol. Enjoy your success it's well deserved! But that secondary is not the best in the league and it will get Swiss cheesed up in the Dome! Catch us if you can! Lol #itsaRace

You are just like every other inbred swamp rat on the Saints Report.  Talking about how the Pats were without so many of their starters and we barely won.

Guess when you fuging douche nozzle....they were without the same defensive players and they fuging BEAT THE SAINTS ASS.

Go suck the tailpipe of Alice's imaginary Bentley.

They called PI it should have been holding would have held up if they called holding.

No, it wouldn't of. That would've been so terrible a call that the outrage would be going the other way right now, because it would display a blatant lack of knowledge of the rules by the officials.

You can whine all ya want but the call was the right call. You might hate the rule OP, which is where your anger should lie, but you can't sit here and say Keek should of received a flag. They called it the way the rule lays it out. If it had happened to us, id of been really pissed...AT THE RULE, not at the call. Besides, the refs missed like 8 holding calls that final drive any way, karma is a beeeeeyotch.

The reason people may feel it cheapened the game is because the flag was thrown when it never should have been.

If that flag wasn't thrown in the first place, no one would have been outraged or even thought there was a foul on that play.

I would agree with you a bit here in that if the flag wasn't thrown, there would be no controversy.  Yet the flag brought the whole thing to our attention, and for me, it brought Kuechly's play to our attention.

To everyone,

Remember, Kuechly had a costly penalty in the Bills game, which we would have won.  In all honesty, I agree pass intereference shouldn't have been called, but perhaps illegal contact should have been called.  The main thing is, whether we got away with one or not, Kuechly's coverage is a big no-no.  You must look back and play the ball if you are making any kind of contact with the receiver.  If you don't, you will be called almost every time.  Some of you say Kuechly was face guarding with Gronk, or he was boxing him out like they do in basketball.  I don't care what Kuechly was doing, that kind of coverage he had on Gronk was bad technique period.  Yall are saying Brady's pass was uncatchable.  Okay, but what if it was catchable?  Would you be okay with Kuechly then and him getting a PI call?

We got a good team and I believe we have a shot at winning the division and perhaps getting a second seed, and maybe home field if the Seahawks slip up.  I don't want to be in the playoffs with a superbowl on the line, and Kuechly's coverage puts the ball on the goaline for the opposition.  Shoot I love Cam, and because of it, I'm very hard on him and his play at times.  Why should it be any different for Keek? :lk:   Call me what you will, but I speak the truth! Good play by Keek. Playing his man. They usually allow a little more physicality on last second plays, but Gronk was no where near the ball. I didn't even realize he was the one Brady was throwing to.

Gronk never made a play on the ball so Keek was face guarding him and was going to react to what Gronk did.

To me, it did look like gronk wanted to go inside, but keek was riding him out the back of the end zone. Keek didn't realize where he was, so when gronk slowed down to stay in bounds, that's when Keek got in trouble. I think Keek did a great job of not taking gronk down with him. It was not graceful I tell ya what.

Great win, 7-3 mutherfugers.

Luke was guarding him much like a basketball player would and was very careful not to grab him with his hands.

Keek did everything right, except stop when gronk stopped. Keek ran right up his azz.

I think Luke fugged up. The refs may have ultimately made the right call, but that doesn't completely take Luke off the hook.

If I'm his coach, then yes, I talk to him about it. Kuechly probably already knows he got a bit of a break because, right or wrong, that same call could have easily gone against us.

But it in no way cheapens the victory.

I blame Keek for giving us that Hallmark Moment in the first place. Just a freak ending of the play.

3 weeks from now when we are 9-3 and heading to NO, no one will care how we beat the Pats. Only that we did beat the Pats.

I honestly thought keek was falling towards the end of the play which made it look worse than it was

To me it looked like Keek was riding him out the back of the endzone. When gronk stopped, Keek just ran up his azz. Funny now that we've won. But funky scary at the moment.

My take is this isn't about if the ref call was right or not.  Its about Luke's play during crunch time going forward not hurting

this team like his pass interference did in Buffalo.

Not sure I am willing to define Keek's career on a few odd plays. Let's let the myriad of great plays define him.

This is football, weird things happen. Sometimes you get the bounce, like we are now, and sometimes it bounces against you, like it used to do quite regularly.

Dumb Play by Luke, Good Call By the Refs point blank

I don't think it was dumb. I think it was just circumstances gone wild. Ever follow someone down a hall, and have them stop unexpectedly? You run all up over them. That is what happened to Keek. He was riding gronk out the back of the endzone and when gronk stopped, Keek ran up his azz.

Funny in retrospect. Scary at the time. Just another example of how things are going our way right now.

People really need to drop the 'it could have been some other penalty' argument.

The ball was in the air. PI is the only option.

This is what I find so hilarious. Matthias is doing nothing but illustrating he has no familiarity with the rulebook.

"But but guys I just speak da truth and am objective and stuff! arrrgh homerees!"

I love me some Keeks, but he made a dumb play against Gronk.  Not only should he have been penalized, it would have been better for him and the team in the long run to been penalized.  Why do I say that?  This is not the first time I seen Kuechly mug a good tight end in the endzone.  What I saw last night was almost a mirror image of what he did to Gonzalez when we played the Falcons.  Someone said that Kuechly made a similar play against the Bills, but I can't confirm that and yet I also wouldn't doubt it.  It's clear now that this style of play is instinctual, and that is not good for us in the long run.

Kuechly should have been penalized, and that would have taught him to stop that kind of play.  For one, it wasn't even necessary.  We all know Brady has to throw the ball in the endzone, and we all calculated that Gronk was Brady's go-to-guy.  You drop seven guys in coverage, meaning you aren't the only one to defend the pass.  Why are you wrapping up and bear hugging the guy, not even a hint of attempt at actually playing the ball?  That drives me crazy because Kuechly was actually in better position to intercept the pass himself had he played the ball.  Why am I so mad that the refs picked the flag up?  For one, it does in a way cheapen the game overall.  I know the Patriots had a lot of dirty plays and they might have deserved for the refs to look the other way on that last play, but I want my team to play honorably regardless.  I want to win without any excuse from the other side.  That we were the best team last night through and through.  Them picking up the flag kind of cheapened that for me.  Secondly, Kuechly will now move on without changing his thought on how to cover a good tight end in the endzone.  Eventually that play will catch up.  I much rather would have been penalized last night and dealt with the consequences (one of them being Kuechly learn from this and begin playing the ball), than Kuechly doing something like this in the playoffs and it ends up costing us the game then.

How many of you believe Rivera got on Kuechly for that play last night?  How many of you believe Kuechly is mentally checking himself right now and correct himself?  Maybe those two things happened, I don't know.  Yet I'm not as confident those two things happened now, because Kuechly wasn't penalized.  Had he been penalized, those two things would have gotten done and trust me, they need to get done.

Certain posters... you can count on'em.

Just like clockwork.

From my understanding the flag was not picked up because it was ruled uncatchable but because they blieved there was simtaneus between the contact and the ball being touched. Which wasn't the case. It was the "just"call in the sense that the PI didn't make a difference as Gronk wouldn't have come up with it regardless.

But they way the VP explained It they got it wrong when you look at it in slo mo

It wasn't a penalty because of not being catchable, but that doesn't necessarily mean it was a good play. Had that ball been close to the receiver, it would have been PI, and rightfully so. Luke has to learn to cover better than that.

I have to ask why Luke was even on Gronkowski in that situation. Seems like we would have been far better off with Davis covering him.

It was actually picked up specifically because the pass was judged uncatchable.
