Watch the play.

Watch where Gronkowski ran.

Watch where the ball was thrown.

Watch where Lester was.

Keep in mind that even if he wasn't grabbing him, he was still between him and the ball, as was Lester.  Mike Mitchell was also just off camera in a good position to help defend it, especially given where the ball was thrown.

It was a good non-call on a bad pass.

Lol at NE not expecting the refs to let the players play on the last play of the game.

I've never seen a bigger group of entitled arrogant douche nozzles.

I was surrounded by NE fans up in 536, to see all their arrogance crushed in one play was the highlight of the night for me.  I didnt see a single NE fan utter a word as they walked the long walked down the ramp from the upper deck.  As the rest of of us we were screaming and chanting. "Go Panthers"!

For you ignorant fugs i said you guys were the better team yesterday hands down. Easily! Offense was efficient and defense was stout for majority of the game. You just aren't anything to be feared sorry lol. Enjoy your success it's well deserved! But that secondary is not the best in the league and it will get Swiss cheesed up in the Dome! Catch us if you can! Lol #itsaRace

hashtags are as lame as your run defense, and who beat you in the dome last year?

I believe that if Robert Lester hadn't been there to make a play on the ball, and it were just Keek and Gronk jostling for the ball, a PI call might have been possible. However, based on the way Gronk's own momentum was carrying him before Keek even touched him, he wasn't getting that ball, Lester was.

If there's no Lester(and there was), MAAAAAYBE an untouched Gronk could have planted his foot and fallen forward and made a play on that underthrown ball. Since Lester WAS there, he would have had to have fallen through another human being to be in position to make the catch. Too many IFs in the 'Gronk makes the catch' scenario than what should be considered a reasonable argument FOR a PI call.

Can you please bring back your MFCEO label with Kenny Powers on it? Eastbound & Down ended and my heart is still sad.

I love me some Keeks, but he made a dumb play against Gronk.  Not only should he have been penalized, it would have been better for him and the team in the long run to been penalized.  Why do I say that?  This is not the first time I seen Kuechly mug a good tight end in the endzone.  What I saw last night was almost a mirror image of what he did to Gonzalez when we played the Falcons.  Someone said that Kuechly made a similar play against the Bills, but I can't confirm that and yet I also wouldn't doubt it.  It's clear now that this style of play is instinctual, and that is not good for us in the long run.

Kuechly should have been penalized, and that would have taught him to stop that kind of play.  For one, it wasn't even necessary.  We all know Brady has to throw the ball in the endzone, and we all calculated that Gronk was Brady's go-to-guy.  You drop seven guys in coverage, meaning you aren't the only one to defend the pass.  Why are you wrapping up and bear hugging the guy, not even a hint of attempt at actually playing the ball?  That drives me crazy because Kuechly was actually in better position to intercept the pass himself had he played the ball.  Why am I so mad that the refs picked the flag up?  For one, it does in a way cheapen the game overall.  I know the Patriots had a lot of dirty plays and they might have deserved for the refs to look the other way on that last play, but I want my team to play honorably regardless.  I want to win without any excuse from the other side.  That we were the best team last night through and through.  Them picking up the flag kind of cheapened that for me.  Secondly, Kuechly will now move on without changing his thought on how to cover a good tight end in the endzone.  Eventually that play will catch up.  I much rather would have been penalized last night and dealt with the consequences (one of them being Kuechly learn from this and begin playing the ball), than Kuechly doing something like this in the playoffs and it ends up costing us the game then.

How many of you believe Rivera got on Kuechly for that play last night?  How many of you believe Kuechly is mentally checking himself right now and correct himself?  Maybe those two things happened, I don't know.  Yet I'm not as confident those two things happened now, because Kuechly wasn't penalized.  Had he been penalized, those two things would have gotten done and trust me, they need to get done.

Do you believe if Kuechly would have not been in front of Gronk, that Gronk could have made that touchdown infront of Robert Lester? I dont think so, there were at least two other panthers around Gronk beside Lester and Kuechly that could have ultimately made a play on that ball. ESPN is blowing this way out of the water.. why you ask? because ESPN always pull for larger market teams. Kuechly is what makes this defense ticks. So dont go blaming our best player for mistakes he has not even made yet. For all you bandwagon fans saying "thats game", " yep we lost", and " we will never beat a great team" after the third quarter. Can go suck it! You don't even deserve to watch the rest of the games this season.

My take is this isn't about if the ref call was right or not.  Its about Luke's play during crunch time going forward not hurting

this team like his pass interference did in Buffalo.
