Mike Pereira's take on the no-call

[qt] You could make a case that the pass might have been uncatachable, but the flag was thrown and you should stay with it. My thoughts [/qt]

[qt] My thoughts..Since the flag was thrown they should have stayed with the call. There was clear contact before the ball was intercepted. More. [/qt]

Sounds to me that he just doesn't want to say the Patriots should have lost the game.

In regards to "they threw the flag the should have stuck with it", it looked to me he one reference threw the flag so they could discuss it. Easier to pick up the flag than to not throw it then decide later it should have been a penalty. My main evidence to this fact is that the guy that threw the flag is the one that called the other official over to discuss it.

I think they should of penalized NE for the leg whip that took our best lineman out of half the game.

It didn't happen. We dealt with it. Poo happens. No game comes down to one call or one play in reality. Focus just is always at the end.

    • Is this the wrong place to ask?  Help me please!!   I'm taking my 12 year old to his first game.  We would like to get there early.  Are there any kid friendly tailgating areas?   Thanks in advance
    • Honestly Bryce is a conundrum right now I'm not really sure what we should do with him but I am content on him being the quarterback number one going into next season. I think we should allow him the chance to play out the season to prove that he's the quarterback he can be going into next season.  I would not waste a high draft pick on a quarterback because I'm not sure anyone in this up and coming class is as good or has the ceiling that he had with that said I wouldn't throw away the future I would bring in someone like Justin Fields to have him looking over his shoulder and give us a plan b if everything doesn't go right on a one-year deal. I think the priority right now if tepper wants to make a big splash is find a way to get Travis Hunter that would be option 1AA because he helps with both sides of the field either way whatever you need defense or offense. Make that happen and then go mostly defense the rest of the way and we're cooking.
