We need to change conversation from getting in the playoffs to "can we win the Super Bowl?"

I'm going to say yes. We'll be favored in every game the rest of the season except the 2 Saints game. We'll probably split with the Saints and lose a game we should win and finish 11-5 or 12-4. We're the hottest team in football knocking off two contenders in a row. We can do it with offense OR defense. There should be no team we fear from here on out: Denver, Seattle, New Orleans...who cares. They should be fearing us.

The rules:

A game-winning drive for the purposes of this bet means that:

Cam must be on the field the entire drive. Wildcat plays are fine, if he's hurt and Anderson finishes it off, it doesn't count.

The drive must start at the 50 or anywhere in Panthers territory.

Cam must complete at least 1 pass for positive yards on the drive.

The clock has to be under 5 minutes left when we take over.

We must be tied or trailing when we take over.

We must score a touchdown. The only way I'll count a field goal is if it's to win the game with under 10 seconds left.

You must have over 3,000 posts to enter and this is subject to change according to the approval of Zod or any other admin (Kurb maybe? Can't remember how it works here anymore.) I'd like it to be the first person with over 3,000 posts that wants to do it.

If Cam succeeds, I'll donate $100 to the charity of your choice within 2 weeks of whenever it happens. If Cam doesn't succeed, you'll donate $100 to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital within 2 weeks of the end of the season.

Anyone in? People should be chomping at the bit since everyone still believes in Cam, right?

As long as we split the Aints games and win out we take the division as long as Seattle destroys the Aints at home.  With that we'd have a bye with Seatlle and gotta hope some other team upsets them in their home.  That place is hell man.  They haven't lost there in almost 2 years now and theres a reason why.

We need to stop having threads with people telling us what we're supposed to think about our football team.

Screw this crap.

I just want to keep winning.

I'll enjoy this for the next hour and a half, and then I'll be grumpy again because I want another win next week.

I guess what you say is possible.  Depends on if you think we can with our quarterback.  Think his name is Cam Newton.  Do you think he can lead us to a Superbowl now?

    • BB building a NFL caliber program. We training entirely different. The guys we had this year will be stronger, smarter, faster. The transfers are coming.    Im more worried about the QB position. We have to hit on that guy.
    • https://www.thescore.com/nhl/news/3162765/report-forsberg-vejmelka-vladar-on-hurricanes-radar The Carolina Hurricanes are eyeing a trio of goaltenders to fortify their depth between the pipes. Ottawa's Anton Forsberg, Utah's Karel Vejmelka, and Calgary's Dan Vladar are on Carolina's radar, reports The Athletic's Pierre LeBrun. However, none of those teams are in sell mode yet and might not be at all depending on how their seasons go, LeBrun notes. All three goalies are pending unrestricted free agents. Forsberg has posted an .889 save percentage in 11 games with the Senators this campaign as Linus Ullmark's backup. The 32-year-old journeyman previously spent time in Raleigh during in 2019-20. Vejmelka has emerged as Utah's starter this season, registering a sparkling .915 save percentage in 17 appearances. Vladar has struggled with an .885 save percentage in 16 games while sharing the Flames' crease with Dustin Wolf. The Canes also reportedly spoke to the Anaheim Ducks about John Gibson after missing out on Mackenzie Blackwood, who was dealt to the Colorado Avalanche on Dec. 9. Pyotr Kochetkov has struggled with an .895 save percentage in 18 games as Carolina's No. 1 goalie this season. Veteran netminder Frederik Andersen hasn't played since October and was given an eight-week timeline after undergoing knee surgery in late November.
    • I haven’t seen him play, but if he doesn’t get separation and he’s slow, that doesn’t sound like a top 5 WR
