A lil disappointing to see how well Patriots moved ball.

We experienced a fully healthy New England Patriots offense. Vereen is as dynamic a back there is, and Brady was Brady. Especially after the bye, this was not going to be a defensively dominating game for us. Add in the fact that CJ missed a portion of the 2nd half, I'd say we were decent on defense. Their offense now has weapons, and we did a good job of not giving up big plays, as time management was critical in this game. I'm sure we'll rebound back, but give props to the Pats, they executed a great game plan. Fug, it was Bill Belichick.

Great win and we played well, but would have liked our big time D do just a lil bit. They really seemed to run the ball well against us and passed pretty efficiently.

That said they are still a top O and we held them to 20 so it's good. I think this was a good game for us to experience before New Orleans, cause you know they'll air it out.

A win is always welcomed.

Thoughts about our defense tonight?

That's understandable, but is somewhat missing how this defense is designed.

We play a soft zone bend but don't break defense. We apply constant pressure and keep coming at you until you make a mistake.

The Patriots simply didn't make a lot of mistakes. Brady played out of his damn mind. He had his best game of the season in terms of completion percentage before the frantic throws on the final drive.

In today's NFL, the elite offensives can't be stopped just slowed down. The defense did their job tonight, and more importantly the offense did too.

I think with this squad, sometimes the D will get us the win despite the O, and sometimes the O will get us the win despite the D.

On a bad day neither the D or O stink the place up, its just they are vulnerable.

We need OL and CB to complete the package.  Unless watkins falls to us (oh please please), I'd look for some piece like that to really make a big impact
