Might only last until tomorrow night, but the Texans gave up more than enough yards to give up the #1 spot in Total Defense and the Chiefs have allowed 17 points tonight which puts them at 12.8 points a game to our 12.7777 and there's still a lot of time left for Peyton Manning. Pretty damn cool.

Of course, this is based on them playing one more game than us, so it is not an apt comparison until after we face the Pats.  I am just going to go ahead and assume both thread makers realized this before making the thread.

 

Will we manage to keep Brady and Co. to under 12.8 points in this game?  I sure as hell hope so, but I wouldn't fugging bet on it.

 

IMO the only ranking that matters is called the standings.  Beating the Pats would put us in a great position to maintain our hold on the #5 seed.  I don't care if we give up 30 points and 500 yards as long as we win this damn game.

It's crazy how the NFC is unfolding. Realistically the giants could win there Div with 8 or 9 wins and we might not with 12.
