That's already the case which is why we give up so few points even if teams get a first down or two we still force the stop because dink and dunk is hard to maintain.

True but they take a few downfield shots on our secondary. I feel like it only gets tougher next year with a little more secondary help.

According to ESPN Stats & Information, when rookie defensive tackles Star Lotulelei and Kawann Short are on the field together, running backs are getting only 1.2 yards per carry before contact. When one is off, the number goes to 2.2. When both are off the field, backs get 3.8 yards per carry.

That stat with them both on the field is very impressive. To be fair though, situational context makes those numbers more logical. For example, the main time they're both off the field in long passing situations where giving up a 5-yard draw isn't a big deal. Would be interesting to see those numbers broken out situationally, but no doubt that those two are playing some great football right now.
