I say if you want to create a thread like this, then you should face a ban if your "prediction" fails. Make people think long and hard before they click post.

Gladly accept this.  I want nothing more than to see Rivera turn the corner, but I don't see it happening based on what he has shown the last 3 years.  If he does and the Panthers win, I'll never post here again and be very happy about it.

 

The majority of the people here are homers with absolutely no clue about football.  I rarely post or read the dribble on this board anyway.  I actually just popped in and started reading all the threads about "playoffs" and most "dominate" defense and a ton more homerisims you fools are posting after beating a bunch of horrible teams.  Figured I'd throw a little truth into the equation.

 

Panthers have beat ONE winning team and almost gave that game away.  I'm not sold or buying Rivera's poo yet, but will be glad to if he turns the corner.  I have ZERO confidence in Rivera.

Point has been made repeatedly....Rivera can not close out games against good teams and will be exposed again tomorrow only Belichick will probably make Rivera look like a clown rather than just a poor coach.

 

What have you actually added to the conversation other than preteen trash talk?

I think he did against San Francisco and barring a Williams fumble probably would have against Seattle (if you can use probability to validate you sky falling stance, so will I). Rivera gas also coached differently since the giants game so I'm a little more optimistic in regards to his future here. This patriots team isn't the Patriots of old. We might not win, but a crushing defeat isn't likely. The only reason I could see anyone suggesting such lunacy is either they are a Patriots fan posing as a Panthers fan, they have no fundamental knowledge about football, or they spend a lot of time cutting themselves to bullet for my valentine. And come on now, my trash talk is at least teen level.
