Opinions....best way for us to slow down the no huddle offense.....

The other part of the OP's question was, how to slow down the Pats' offense enough so Brady doesn't quick snap the ball before our D package is set.

Players: Concentrate! No celebrating. Stay quiet & focused so Kuechly needs to communicate the package only once. Know your assignments and get to that spot fast. I doubt Norman sees the field even if he is active.

Coaches: Get the packages in quickly!!

Everyone is talking about the disguises we use. I don't think there will be as many of those packages called as you may think in this game. What beats no-huddle is a disciplined defense with base personnel. Gap control at the line. Five yd chuck on WR's, playing the sidelines. CB's tight underneath, safeties up top. No one watches the QB, everyone pays attention to their assignment. And line: hands up in the air when Brady throws!

When a D plays tight, disciplined football & everyone is covered the QB has no choice but to hold the ball longer (leading to pressure/sacks) or throw it away. Neither gets them a 1st down.

There's much more to it than this but if everyone executes as they are supposed to, we'll have no problem with Brady's quick paced no-huddle offense.
