Football Gameplan's 2013 Wk 11 Preview - Panthers vs Patriots

Emory is a guy working his way up the ladder in very legitimate fashion, too bad for him the quality of his work and his integrity will keep him waiting for his big break. Meanwhile the likes of morons such as Skip Bayless continue to taint the airwaves with a full onslaught of douchebaggery, incompetence and a complete disregard for the intelligence of fans as a whole.

Keep doing what you do Em, I'll support you all the way to the top.

It is nice to see someone back up their opinions with some intelligence.  Whether you picked us or the bad guys you can't argue that the opinion shows favoritism.

Good Job,   I look forward to seeing these each week.

Gotta ask.  What is your record so far this year.  Based on your picks.

I've yet to not see him pick the Panthers, so 6-3 assuming he's done one every week.

This is why I love having Kuechly as our MLB. In the 1/4, 1/4, 1/2 with the offense running trips....Kuechly has the ability (quickness andspeed) to cover so much ground on the weak side if the tight end or slot drags across the middle and a RB flashes out the backfield to the weak side flat.  With our front 4 push and Kuechly/Davis' instincts it covers a multitude of sins in our secondary.  Thanks, Em!

P.S. Our secondary ain't that bad

Love the weekly break downs, as always.  I will say, though, that if the Pats play Cover 2 and stunt the DE and DT in the manner suggested, Cam will be able to eat up grass with his feet.  I really hope they do that a few times.  IMHO, the Pats are going to try to make Cam a true pocket passer.  I don't think we'll be seeing too many exotic pressures that could open up running lanes for him.

Teams are still trying to figure out Cam. Things that worked before, no longer work. You may be able to slow him down, but you ain't stopping him. As has been stated. Good Cam plays, we spank the pats. Decent Cam shows up, we still win.

The ONLY way the pats beat us? If bad Cam appears. And I just don't see their D as being good enough to force that to happen. This pats team is ripe for the pickens, and we are just the team to do it.

Just listened to riverboat's press conference and heard brandon williams might see some action.

Well, I guess its about time for some Brandon sightings. Been 1/2 a year now. Really hard to believe something isn't going on. The kid look promising, or what little we actually got to see. But if he can't beat out Hartstock, he ain't getting much playing time.

The key to Cam being successful hasn't changed, he's got to be a guy who can beat you from the pocket in order for his legs to really out him over the top.

Luckily NE's D isn't that good against the run so I think we'll lean heavily on that.

Tom doesn't like to be moved from his spot in the pocket, but he moves well within the pocket. The key to stopping him is the interior DL sitting the interior OL in his lap and not letting him step up.

Been waiting on this guy all season.

With all the damm newsnikx round here. You'd think there would be more news on this kid. I know he is usually active. Other than that, zip a dee duu da zipadea. Sorry.

Or, now this shows you how little I know, the last I heard, he had something wrong with his leg. And that was a while ago, and he was still active. So I have no clue about the kid.

Athletic potential. Sometimes it works, as Chandler can attest. Sometimes...you get players like Brandon. The potential never blossoms.

I fugging don't know. And it fugging bugs me no end.
