It was actually both Mikes that came up with the list. They proceeded to say Cam would make anyone who forgot about him regret it by the end of the season.

Bottom line is we won't go all season without him going off for another Falcons-2012 or Bucaneers-2011 game. There will be a game where he goes off and the defense continues to play how they have been. He had one off day against the 49ers defense, was still exceptional on 3rd down.

Andrew Luck, 3 ints versus the Rams. Still a football god. Apparently the way the colts used him to throw the ball downfield his rookie year shows how awesome he was. Cam 75 career touchdowns faster than anyone and the only QB to throw for 50 TDs and run for 25 TDs?(it may have been fastest.)

I never implied that I was smarter than anyone, I'm not. I'm just saying it's funny how it is around here, everyone loves the analysts that praise the Panthers and the ones that don't get poo talked like they are Hitler 2.0 and are dumb as a bag of rocks because they don't have the same set of views. It's unflattering.

Fans, eh? Utterly silly and unserious! Who would have ever thought you'd find bias in a forum designed for team FANatics, right?

I'm not the one of the many making a thread every time a writer doesn't say glowing things about the Panthers.

If an analyst says / posts something about the Panthers, it's relevant Panther news.  Nothing wrong with starting a thread for discussion and posting an opinion ...  in my opinion.

For one, I am enjoying the threads about all the Panther talk this week and appreciate that others are finding / hearing this stuff and posting it.

Its not important.

Neither, in the wide scheme of things, is a GAME like football. Football is just entertainment.

Much like listening to ESPN radio is entertainment.

Much like posting on a message board is entertainment.

There's nothing REALLY important about any of it.

So are you saying we should only discuss REALLY important things (death, taxes, sickness, war, peace, etc)? Or should we only discuss things you designate as "important"?

Or maybe... here's an idea! We can discuss WHATEVER THE FUG WE WANT on this forum as long as its Panthers-related and approved by the mods! And I know I'm just getting CRAZY with this next point: if you DON'T want to discuss a particular topic, THEN YOU CAN LEAVE THAT TOPIC TO THOSE THAT DO!

Revolutionary! ;)

lol little defensive, there.

never said you couldn't or shouldn't feel like that or act like that or post like that. i don't really care and you shouldn't care what i think about it either. there is no effort to tell you what you can or should get riled up about.

i was just looking at it the way i look at someone who has a bruise somewhere who keeps complaining about how it hurts when they poke it. if it hurts when you poke it, quit poking it. if what some people say bothers you on a consistent basis, then quit listening to them. it's not me telling you what to do...it's just a bit of what could be helpful but unsolicited advice. take it or leave it or rage about someone on the internet disagreeing with you and if you are worrying about whether or not I'm looking down at you, again i ask what does it matter? i'm just another hack on the internet.

i don't, btw.

Remember guys, they are not going off potential here.  Most of the guys on the list have been to the playoffs and even the Super Bowl in some cases.

That is what gets em on the board.  If we make the playoffs, then the board will jumble a bit for sure.

An argument can be made for luck and even wilson, outside of those 2 though, Kaepernick is just flat out awful now that the book is out on him.  He's Aaron Brooks 2.0 and won't be in the NFL in 5  seasons.  Stafford is decent, but his numbers are inflated by his receivers, namely his 1 receiver who might legitimately be the only competition for Jerry Rice for the best receiver of all time.  And RGKnee...oh my god, why are people even still talking about him.  He is not that good, and he will get broke in half in the NFL.  It's a good thing he's under 26 because by the time he reaches 30, his career will be all but over.  Kirk Cousins is a better QB than him.  I don't even bother ranking, I think the top 3 under 26 are Cam, Luck, and Wilson in no particular order, all have great high points and some weaknesses they need to work on.

If you spend all your time worrying about what talking head sports figures are saying or are not saying about your team then being a fan isn't going to be very fun is it

Nobody said anything about spending all their time worrying about it ... but it is fun commenting about it when visiting the huddle.
