meh...who cares? does it really matter?

it's espn...quit taking their poo seriously.

abide by these rules or stay in a constant state of frustration and pissiness.

1) don't watch/listen to/read espn. don't subscribe to their "insider" crap.

2) if you can't avoid it, then just expect them to come from a point of ignorance and bias and shrug it off

just accept that these guys are all tools that work with espn and realize that their opinion means poo. it has no bearing whatsoever on what this team does and if you are worried about respect, understand that theres just some people whose respect means nothing. you want real respect? win. if some don't give it in spite of what you achieve, screw them cause their opinion doesn't matter anyway. don't waste your time dealing with ignorant, narrowminded ass hats.

what people say in the media doesn't matter just like what people say on message boards don't matter. it's ok if someone doesn't agreebwith you. it's ok if some people are ignorant asses. don't waste your time dealing with them. just wipe that poo off your shoe and move on.

Would Kellen Clemens be ranked if he was a little younger? Luck looked so good last week didn't he? 38-8, after being down 38-0, 3 picks and a fumble returned for TD. With respects to Christian Ponder, has ANY QB looked so chitty all year???!!! Even Ponder got a win last week. Luck now has the same record as Cam even though his D intercepted Terrelle Pryor in the endzone, Hillman (who was then deactivated by the Broncos) fumbles at the goal line, his D blocks a FG and intercepts Wilson at the end (Beason couldn't stop Lynch in the final drive vs. the Seahawks), and Kubiak has a stroke while his kicker misses 3 FGs or Señor Luck(y) has more than 3 losses.

Mr football deity himself has a QB rating below Wilson, Stafford, Bradford, and Cam, his completion % is below Dalton, RG3, Glennon, Locker, Ponder, Pryor, and Tannehill (who he lost at home head to head), and he hasn't been to a Superbowl like Kaepernick. Let all that sink in.

As for Cam, the greatest QB in NFL history, statistically, through 40 games, most impressive physical freak to ever play the position, 24 years old, proven winner=wouldn't trade him for anyone in the history of football at this stage of career.

I agree with his top 5. I don't see how anybody can loose their s*** when Cam doesn't go up on a top QB list, after a week where zero touchdowns were thrown. A win is a win, and that is great but this is a list based solely on stats and the stats weren't there.

 

Redskins lost but RG3 against Minnesota, threw for 281 yards and had 3 touchdowns. That is why RG3 is on a top list and the Redskins aren't. As long as this team continues to win, I could care less about individual accolades. 

 

Cam is doing the right thing. He's playing smart and taking his chances when they come and doing enough to win. If that means, he won't put up 300+ yards, so be it.

Its not important.

Neither, in the wide scheme of things, is a GAME like football. Football is just entertainment.

Much like listening to ESPN radio is entertainment.

Much like posting on a message board is entertainment.

There's nothing REALLY important about any of it.

So are you saying we should only discuss REALLY important things (death, taxes, sickness, war, peace, etc)? Or should we only discuss things you designate as "important"?

Or maybe... here's an idea! We can discuss WHATEVER THE FUG WE WANT on this forum as long as its Panthers-related and approved by the mods! And I know I'm just getting CRAZY with this next point: if you DON'T want to discuss a particular topic, THEN YOU CAN LEAVE THAT TOPIC TO THOSE THAT DO!

I never implied that I was smarter than anyone, I'm not. I'm just saying it's funny how it is around here, everyone loves the analysts that praise the Panthers and the ones that don't get poo talked like they are Hitler 2.0 and are dumb as a bag of rocks because they don't have the same set of views. Newsflash-Señor Luck(y) threw for less yards than Cam and ZERO TDs against the 49ers too, even with Reggie Wayne.
