McDermott wanted this job so he could work with Rivera and build this defense. Is he ready for a head coaching job? Was Rivera who had much more experience? Problem is that being a coordinator and being the head coach are very different. I suspect Mcdermott will want his chance but honestly I don't think he is ready unless he wants to go to the college ranks and get some experience.

 

And the reason he struggled in Philly was that he had constant injuries to the linebackers like he had here in 2011. If he had Kuechly and Davis in Philly, his defenses would have been much better.

      Lower floors than AR coming out, or lower floors than AR now?  Are you counting that he has proven to be a productive goal line back?  AR as a prospect had just about the lowest floor you can possibly have.  Probably the same as Milroe.  Dart's floor looks a lot closer to backup QB to me, but the issue is that his ceiling doesn't look too far from that either. It's crazy that teams are drafting scratch off lottery tickets at QB with 1st round picks.
