OK to skip work for Training Camp?

Since there are only a couple weekend practices this year, I'm going to have to go down to Spartanburg for a training camp practice during the week. If you were my boss, would you fire my fat ass?

Well we will both find out, I'm skipin work on the 3rd so I can go to TC

You won't get fired if you use your vacation days. That way you can reserve a hotel for a whole week in Spartanburg, sit in the horrible heat and watch our boys practice. I'll be there Aug 2nd thru the 5th.

Sales Guy? Obviously that depends on his sales. Either you work hard and have couple of strong weeks going into TC or You work hard and Sand bag some sales to feed them while you are at TCamp.
